Blocking servers on CryMP

I sincerely support ZI's words on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of CryMP about the work of the initiators of the Crysis 1 revival and the lifeblood of our community - players, server owners, moderators. I've been in the Crysis community since 2007. Then there were my WELCOME-TO-PITER-IA and (PS) servers on SSM Aegis, if anyone remembers. He has been registered on CryMP since 2016. I kept the servers "SPb> SM" on SSM SafeWriting and "Server-SM" on SSM CryFire. In short, Crysis has been dedicated for 17 years. What happened in our friendly, fraternal community that thrives on a shared love of the game? My servers are blocked! The IP 194.87.206.164, where the servers are located, is blocked. When servers are running on IP 193.42.118.193, they appear in the list of servers in gray and are not available for players to connect. I'm at a loss. The servers were played and sometimes actively. A lot of effort has been spent for all of us. I appeal to the administrators of CryMP with a request and a wish to take care of the enthusiasts of the Crysis community, which, as my dear ZI said, thrives due to the common love of the game. As for my servers, of course I ask the admins to restore access, WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER! I'm in discord smersh_54.

Hi, there was never any blocking on CryMP and never will be. The gray means that the server is registered on CryMP, but it is not possible to connect to it from outside internet as a player. The way it works is that CryMP checks whether it can connect to the server or not. If not, it is gray, if yes, it is green. It is a feature of CryMP to let you as a server owner know this way, that something is wrong with server configuration and that others will not be able to connect to it. You can check whether CryMP is able to connect to your server or not on this URL: https://crymp.net/api/ping?ip=193.42.118.193&port=64087 If it works, you should see something like {"rtt":123}, which means ping between CryMP and your server is 123ms. If it doesn't work, you should see {"error":"server unreachable"}. I believe the issue here is the firewall settings, as you mentioned, you switched from old erver in St. Petersburg to new server in Zurich. So it is most likely that new server has a firewall rules that block everything by default unless you configure it to allow it. In such case, create new firewall rules that allow inbound traffic from public internet to UDP protocol on ports that your servers use and try to run the game server again. Once resolved, your server should again be green and appear in the CryMP serverlist on the website.

I am delighted with the promptness and attention with which the CryMP admin reacted to my problem. Pretty quickly and intelligently, the admin suggested that I need to fix it, fixed it and the servers started working, hooray, we're on the air!!! Indeed, we are a friendly and fraternal community! THANK YOU FRIENDS!
