Yes, we can patch that. If "Default.lng" doesn't exist, then try to use "English.pak". If it doesn't exist as well, then try to pick something matching system language. But i think we should just wait until they fix it. This is a pretty serious issue affecting many people. There are still other issues that they don't bother to fix, for example, AMD processors, but Crytek would need to be involved in fixing those. However, this is a simple missing file issue, which Valve can definitely fix on their own.
By the way, speaking of issues, the next release of c1-launcher will fix Crysis startup crash on systems with more than 32 processors. It's already fixed in the latest crymp-client. Gaming systems with that many processor cores are still very rare, but it's better to be prepared.
