Beta client is laggy

  Beta client is broken and laggy on game play and times out/crashes. It does NOT validate profiles like sfwcl 11D3. Please do NOT use Beta client on this server rCX | !Crysis . secu_login hand shake with master server is slow and redundant and times out before validation. sfwcl 11D3 is very fast with static_profile and is optimal for rCX | !Crysis server. thank you.

  Thanks for feedback. Any concrete issues can be reported here or directly on GitHub. We currently have one bug open regarding crash in singleplayer. Crash details are automatically written to the log file, which is now always placed in "Documents/My Games/Crysis/CryMP-Client.log". About profiles, the new client tries to be backward compatible where possible. Some small differences are there, however. For example, double !validate is a bug in sfwcl and we decided to not bring it over. Again, if you see a problem in there, open an issue so we can discuss and investigate it. Everything helpful is welcome. You can even open a pull request with a fix proposal. :)

  I think that the concrete issue is that many players have downloaded the beta client and are now using it. I didn't make this post after trying the beta client one time, but rather after many weeks of testing when my friend was available to help test it. He plays mostly crysis wars and is a very knowledgeable coder. At first, I thought the server had errors so we went line by line on the validation sequence and no errors. Server performs self check on load and no errors. He used the beta client and I used the sfwcl. He consistently had connection issues and could not spawn on the map. the same thing happened for me when I used it and noticeable lag which is not in sfwcl. I was not going to make this post because I did not want to be the bearer of bad news because there is already enough bad news in the world. Sfwcl works on all servers and beta client does not.

  Perhaps your server also need a little update changes, since there's a problem with beta on rCX, not on most other servers (I think?). Hopefully it will all work at some point. Compromises etc. ;)

  @TunaSalat I guess you forgot how many times you crashed using beta. No problems with my server, nothing to update. Your choice to use beta.
