Beta client error

  Since I started using beta client, my game crashes to desktop once in a while.

  It's still more prone to sporadic crashes on servers with enabled file check (sv_cheatProtection > 0). I'm working on this. Not sure about other crash reasons.

  It seems to happen when hunter is present (on that shitty server), but only in some cases. Fapp looks into it too I guess

  Have fixed the crash occuring when Hunter kills you + another one, will be included in v15 Thanks for letting me know it was the Hunter, helped a lot :D

  Hmm ok I just had a crash. And I dont think there was an alien hunter in game. And then "server authentication failure" when try to re-enter, because I'm still "in the game". Edit: And crash again, with hunter present

  The fixes are not released yet. About "server authentication failure", the new client doesn't put a random cd-key on startup like the old client does. This is more like a server issue, but yes, we can eventually put a random cd-key as well to fix this.

  What happens when I skip the launcher and just start the game from exe in game folder? Just tried it and I can play the game fine. Can't I still use the old secu login and launch game directly? It's because there now is problem with my game video recorder overlay (geforce experience) and the launcher. Now shortcut to "record" and to open recorder overlay in-game puts game in window mode. Not good But when I don't use the launcher the problem isn't there.. Edit: hmm it also happens in standalone mode. I don't know what's wrong now. Something with my geforce

  You can use the client exe directly if you want. It's fully standalone. Also secu_login works just like before. The launcher provides: - Easy login and profile info - Easy switching between 32-bit/64-bit and DX10/DX9 - Automatic client updates The launcher also works as an installer when it's outside Crysis directory. It's actually installer + launcher + updater in one package. You can also get the latest client exe manually without any installers from here: https://github.com/ccomrade/crymp-client/releases Advanced users might prefer this, but using the launcher is the recommended way.
