Lies about network will be spread anyway by those who don't respect anybody or anybody's work. So the idea is to stick with our old rules in summer. Because anyway - no matter what you do you will be hated, like it was with me. The idea is to go with moral compas and if there are haters who will always hate it - it's their problem if it will be hard for them to understand that rules are not to harm anyone but the opposite.
And opinion about network doesn't mean anything for players. If somebody wants to kill it - he will do it anyway. I just hope that people will start to play nicely. Rules on official servers are very easy to understand. If people don't like them - they can create 10 private servers and have all the players there.

Good point. Of course I have no confidence that Globder wasn't using cheats. But I don't think he was using software cheats. I know his personality which is not like that. But I'm 100% sure he was using some tricks and special settings or simply macros on mouse or keyboard. His kind of punch attack wouldn't work every time if he wasn't using something more than standard stuff.
I don't consider it straight cheating though. But if he could at least share (doesn't have to be with details) this secret a bit - would be more fair and people would respec that a lot.
I know for sure that he doesn't like to share things like that - because he was mad at me when I made my "advanced jumping" tutorial video with mouse wheel juimping which he was fan of and reminded me about people who were using it before. He thought that less people know about its better and we can enjoy making fun of those "noobs" who don't know that. I saw him saying few times on my jump and fly school server - before CryMP.Net times - when showing off with high jumps and people were saying "how?" - he was answering "lol noobs" and things like that. Very pro and respectful.
He even said that nobody should share his tricks that he knows for fighting in Crysis - because it's like fighting with enemy - like real war - you're better when they don't know it. But the problem that I've pointed out there - was that if people don't know things like some glitches in Crysis - for example "no recoil scope aiming", WallJumping and other glitches used by medium and pro player - they simply call this kind of "pro" a hacker and they leave the server.
I saw some people leaving my server during GameSpy times - right after I was trying to teach them jumping or flying. After I was telling them how to do it. They didn't listen - they called me a hacker - and that's it. They were saying "no... it's a cheat how can you fly with speed so long and your energy never ends". "Because in air you don't lose energy" - I replied. "No it's a cheat" and they were leaving. So imagine what Globder's box punching was looking like for them. Considering that he wasn't even trying to explain that it's not a cheat. Just making fu of them.
I saw him air punching 2 newbies on my server in July 2015 after they had nice fight and fun 1 vs 1. He killed them 20 times in a row saying things Like: "now you disconnect noobs" and of course they were out next minute. Real pro player with strong honour and respect to players.
Yes. I don't think he was using cheats in therms of software hacks - but he was using some settings. He admited that one day that it's great to test things like that and discover something people don't know about which can be used during the fight. Or maybe just multipunch thanks to macros? It was something unfair to use in terms of fair play - when people don't know how. I'm not a fan to share everything first day with all the details - because people get lazy - but give a hint, help them after they try and train and finally train together when they know everything - this is amazing.
But he was not using just keyboard punch shortcut or standard mouse one click punch. If he was fair - he would simply at least say a bit about it. But he loved to do it for his own pleasure ONLY. "I'm not a teacher", "when I was a beginner nobody helped me". What kind of excuse is that ? When I was a beginner Cricle-Jump Flyer nobody helped me. I just saw people flying. I had to find my own way to make it work for me. Took me few months. If I had a teacher would be easier. That didn't stop me to make detailed tutorial about it with description and tips how to make switches in the air. This is the way it should work. You are pro at some glitches - you teach others and you're happy when they can do things like that. That also makes you work more on your skills - because your students are getting better and there is fair competition. This is what best in Crysis. Not keeping skills and glitches to yourself and play alone... if so SP would be best for it.
So some glitches or settings if are not shared - look like a hack. Again imagine 2 players using no recoil scope aiming with Scar - and killing everybody in 3 seconds from 100 meters all the time. If nobody but them knew this glitch - those 2 players would be considered hackers - 100%. And if they decide to share info about this gitch - this becomes official stuff and nobody would call them hackers. Globder was using something - didn't want to share it - or even say a little about it - this is why many people could think he was hacker. Especially Mesa players who played Crysis for 3 years - hiding in the bushes. Most of them called me hacker in 2010. Because while they were playing 3 years on Mesa - they didn't see WallJump ever.

Yeah maybe it's just that or also that. I can't speak for him.
But still I think that Sashs is capable to change his insults to something less brutal easily in the future. I believe in that. I'm sure he can agree with that soon. Most of the time he is just trolling without any detectable hate - and it makes deifference. So he can be cool in the future. But we will see in few weeks.

Looks fine. Sure - some people using old client some new - that doesn't make sense as before and has to be fixed finally because of old ID system abuse.
Wow. So finally main.lua an InstantAction.lua won't be excluded from checking for differences? This is great. It could be easily used for higher jumps, higher speed and other things like that - which we could observe sometims. Just because it had to be excluded from the check list to make client work.
Those two files - I saw it as a problem right in 2014 - because I knew what can be changed there on user side - from my tests for MapsExplorer mod in 2011. That changes a lot. I even think it was the reason GerCry started to kick our users. When DieAerzte saw those two files - he was ok and he excluded them for a while - but then they probably saw that it's not safe so our client was banned there. Those changes are of course easy to detect by admins or players who have eyes - but harder by automatic protection. So some would easily cheat with just those two files on servers where admins are not on-line.
If from now even those 2 files won't be allowed to modify unless server allows it - it's a huge change alone.
